Russia spent at least $50 million to manipulate the Romanian election and a court overturned the vote. Meanwhile, Elon Musk spent at least $250 million to manipulate the US election, not including the purchase of Twitter (X) or the other avenues of manipulation used by Russia.
Elon Musk used at least $250M to have Trump elected, the funds were used to interfere with the election through manipulation, disinfo, and bribery (lobbies). TikTok admitted the pro-Russian Calin Georgescu was "promoted" on their platform by two massive bot networks, one of which is "affiliated" with Russia.
Quite conveniently for Georgescu, TikTok delayed removing the networks until after round one of the presidential elections.
