A simple framework for humans. Server-first React, running on the Cloudflare platform. Simple to build. Easy to maintain.

You already know RedwoodSDK because it's just Vite, TypeScript, React and web-standards. Focus on your problem, not your framework.

Congratulations @FredKSchott and @tannerlinsley on the Cloudflare sponsorship! A recognition of the massive amount of effort that goes into building a framework and community. Well deserved!

RedwoodSDK already have realtime and live pages via Durable Objects, but with Cap 'n Web you can have live components. @RedwoodJS are going to build "useState" via "useLiveState" to the server. It'll be bi-directional. So you can discretely update on a per-component level rather than the entire page.

I love big, audacious projects. @awesomekling’s @ladybirdbrowser, and @dhh's @OmarchyLinux are examples of entrenched areas that need diversity and new approaches.

Great to hear! We are getting closer and closer to production ready for Rolldown-Vite. Vite 8 will be fully Rolldown-powered 🚀 - beta soon!
Like every couple of weeks, I try @rolldown_rs @vite_js on PayFit's frontend codebase, but this time, it's all green 🎉 And the stats are pretty impressive, from 2m builds down to 8s ! All of that, with nearly no config change (just a polyfill plugin). Maybe it's time to run it in prod 🎉 And it's not a "simple" vite repo, in that repo we have: - @astrodotbuild - @storybookjs with @vitest_dev addon - @vitest_dev with browser mode, and unit mode - And a couple of vite frontend apps Well done to the rolldown team!

I don't have a problem with making new RPC systems! I can stop any time I want! But I don't want to. So I made a new one for you. It's called Cap'n Web. It's like Cap'n Proto RPC, except focused on working great in browsers and JavaScript/TypeScript servers. (Links in thread.)

RedwoodSDK's router is ~500 LOC. How now brown cow? We use the browser and network for routing.

Yes, if one enjoy using RSC, then RWSDK feels much lighter and leaner for building things.
