pnpm is the best package manager for protection against supply chain attacks (and it has the best DX overall).
They disabled postinstall a long time ago, the main attack vector.
Now they’ve added the minimumReleaseAge option to ignore new versions for, say, a day.

fun fact
if when you deploy, only one asset has actually changed, only that asset will be uploaded
so you can have a huge site with 50k static assets, change one line of text, and still deploy quickly
another change that's been a long time coming!
we've increased the limit for static assets in @cloudflare workers from 20K to 100K files 🔥
