Apple stock is up 6% today, after so many investors were skeptical about their AI strategy yesterday. This is the Apple cloud discussion all over again. Apple doesn't need to sell their own AI model like they didn't need to sell their own cloud. Only a fraction of the active Apple devices is compatible with Apple Intelligence, everyone else will have to upgrade if they want it, that's their strategy! Also, they can always introduce a subscription-based premium AI later, after everyone is familiar with the standard one. I believe they had one of the best WWDC events in years.
