I totally agree! This is really what pushed me to create @inertiajs in the first place. Having a mix of server-side and client-side views is just messy. Better to just commit to a single paradigm. And, if that paradigm is Vue/React/Svelte, Inertia.js makes it so much easier! 🙌

I just hit publish on @inertiajs version 0.1.8. This adds a styling fix to the modal, and also add some more flexibility to the "preserveState" and "preserveScroll" options.
