We're working on improving our TypeScript support within the organization. The effort is led by our former BDFL Eran Hammer and other community members.
Our approach is to first move the DT types within their respectives packages then improve upon them. (1/2)

via our robust plugin system, in the rest of the org you'll find all you need to support logging, sessions, web sockets, cookie or jwt auth, single sign-on, serving static/templated files, and HTTP proxies.
suffice to say, this is just a small look at all hapi has to offer.

there's another reason: hapi is a "batteries-included" web framework. that means no extra dependencies for cookies, caching, CORS, multipart payloads, security headers, content negotiation, range requests, etc.
and that's just the HTTP stuff—there's a lot more...

when you install @hapi/hapi and run Hapi.server().start(), every single line of code that executes lives within the hapi org.
so if there's a critical bug or security issue then we can say a. it originated from us and b. we can fix it ourselves. ciao, supply chain attacks! ☺️🏝️
