One of those libraries that's so good it makes leaving the Next ecosystem hard to justify.

(Also, this change might open up the door for new providers, so if you were stuck before, check the links, maybe we are ready for you now!)
📢 @nextauthjs 4.0.0-next.20 landed better OAuth and OIDC compliance through new options and we need your help to make sure that our ~50 built-in providers will work in the next major version. Need people who could provide us with an account on different platforms/intent to help.

This one implements an RFC that has received a warm welcome so far. Currently, a lot of the providers support the OAuth spec a tiny bit differently, so we had custom handling for these within the core. No more!

A progress update. I now applied these @nextauthjs Adapter API changes to the @prisma adapter, and so far it went from 191 to 84 (!) lines of code, and I am not done yet...! 🤩 When finished, this will probably be my biggest contribution to next-auth so far!
Working late tonight, simplifying @nextauthjs Adapter interface that will make it easier to implement and use, since the API surface will be reduced, and database queries can be batched. That means 🚀

Phew! finally made my beloved @nextauthjs work with @brillout's vite-plugin-ssr. So, technically next-auth can be used with any react framework now.

Help us in managing issues more easily! We are a few people, working on a library in our free time that gets downloaded almost 250.000(!) times a month! Triaging takes a considerable amount of time, time that could have gone to improve the core, or adding new features.
Anyone interested in adding this to @nextauthjs?
I'll help with the PR, this is a good first issue!

Nice article by @simplernerd based on @balazsorban44's idea 💡. It's about requiring auth per page, without the need of getServerSideProps. (This is how the @vercel dashboard works as well) Better perceived perf ⚡by not blocking page load with SSR.

We started doing this in @nextauthjs and I was actually inspired by @materialui to do it. Putting docs 📚 a click away from the IDE hopefully reduces the number of repetitive issues about already documented questions.
