#gamedevjs day 4:
- 10 hours
- 914 lines of code
- Game engine is pretty much ok (grey gears can be placed inside the scene, except in the red zones, fall down, collide with other gears, rotate, make the neighbour gears rotate, and block everything if incompatible gears collide!)
#GamedevJS Jam 2026 - Day 4: My game still looks like a beautiful disaster 😝, but it is getting smarter. You can now pick your dance move, and an indicator tells you if you hit the correct one 🕺🪩. Naturally, the robot always dances by the book 🤖!
I'm working on something new for #gamedevjs. It's a game where you play as the last brick in a brick-breaker game. Your goal is to make sure the ball goes behind the paddle.
First prototype is live.
At this point it’s mostly just the core engine + assets.
The mechanics are still very simple, but it’s a start.
It’ll get better from here.

Day 3 of #GamedevJS!
Prototyping is smooth, but 3D & music are stalled. The schedule is a bit worrying!
On the bright side, I’m waking up 2h earlier.
Loving the peaceful morning routine—it’s helped me get my life together! (ツ)ノ
#gamedevjs day 3:
Done:
- 800 lines of code.
- 7 hours of work.
Working (kind of):
- navigation between editor and game
- gear placement and collision detection
- inventory
- reset buttons
- data structures
Todo:
- physics / game engine (this week?)
- levels (next week?)
Jour 3/13

Day 3 - #gamedevjs 2026 Jam
Finally working on an idea with crazy machines and electrical cables ⚡️
Here’s a first prototype of the magnet.
Very early, let’s see where this goes...
