#GamedevJS Jam 2025 - Day 9: A new "Work" mini-game just joined the family: Be an Editor – spot the typos! 📖🧐
Sounds easy? Try doing it while steering a lawn mower! 🤣
#GamedevJS Day 7
Well... yep, mostly logic again. For example, enemy spawn templates.
And I haven't even gotten to the "balance" part of the game yet. [insert "this is fine"]
From a visual point of view — just a little touch here, a little there.
Here's a test video.
#GamedevJS Jam 2025 - Day 8: It’s game reveal time 🎉!
Introducing my game: “Work Life Balance”.
In this game, you’ll juggle two mini-games at once - one for work 🧑🏭 and one for life 💃.
The challenge? Keeping both in balance ⚖️ to score the most points possible!
I stepped out of the gameplay (I fixed the buttons finally) and working on the cover of the game and menu. Is this color a good combination with him? :0 #gamedevjs
#GamedevJS Day 6
Same as yesterday — mostly logic. Many small things, still lots to do. Like map movement, zoom, and time control are working!
Funny: in #phaser, physics.world.timeScale uses 2 = half speed, 0.5 = double speed— but it's opposite for time.timeScale.
#GamedevJS Jam 2025 - Day 7: My Game Jam vacation has begun, and for the next week, I’m living the dream as a full-time indie game dev ⌨️😎.
Look, I finally have some actual gameplay 🥳. Sure, it's just one half (or maybe a quarter, judging by how ambitious my plans are 😮💨).
Just before running, here is my progress.
More screens to do before remaining screens, game loops, saves, musics then balacing the gameplay!
I bet that these japanese kanjis means nothing relevant lol, will work on that later!

Laying out the game UI and reading card metadata—this one’s gonna be a lightweight roguelike card game 😆
Let’s see how far I can get in the remaining days 🫠
#GamedevJS Day 5
Mostly worked on logic — linking game with UI. Split UI and game into separate Phaser scenes, which added some complexity. Turret UI mostly works now + machine gun icon added
