Wallaby and Quokka have completely changed my development process. They’ve saved me more hours than I can count. By far this is an investment that’ll pay dividends year round. You should absolutely be using these tools if you’re working in JavaScript day-in, day-out.

CDK, JavaScript AWS SDK v3 (via TypeScript) and @wallabyjs is a fantastic combo. Test feedback directly in the IDE as you type and the well thought out command abstraction of v3 SDK has changed how I approach building stuff rapidly and radically.

– We don't write tests. – Why? – Because we don’t have time for it. – Why? – Because there is too much work and pressure. – Why? – Because we don’t move fast enough. – Why? – Because changing software has become difficult and risky. – Why? – Because we don’t write tests.

Wallaby for VS Code now shows coverage indicators and inline values for the last test run when run on save is enabled. Previously, indicators and inline values would be removed after changes and would not appear until the file was saved. wallabyjs.com/whatsnew/vscod…
