Vuetify 4 ships February 23rd with the CSS layers foundation and the DX tooling to actually use it.
We're launching with a step-by-step blog post for integrating Tailwind/UnoCSS into existing projects, plus updated `vuetify create` templates that scaffold new projects with utility frameworks already configured.
The technical work was solving specificity conflicts. The DX work was making it trivial to adopt.
The revamped grid system brings a more modern Flexbox core, improved RTL handling, and a cleaner CSS footprint — making complex layouts easier to scale.
Coming soon in Vuetify 4.
The command palette you've been waiting for VCommandPalette is now in Vuetify labs:
- VS Code-style keyboard navigation
- Built-in search & filtering
- Fully accessible
- Perfect for admin panels, dashboards, apps
