Zelenskyy: “If JD Vance is proud of not helping us, it means he's helping the Russians, and I'm not sure that strengthens the United States.” 🎯

The whole Iran war is looking more and more like a gimmick to drop energy sanctions on Russia and pressure Europeans to do the same. A war to make Russia’s much larger war easier and possible to sustain.
Worth noting that Donald Trump just announced the end of NATO and the Special Relationship in one tweet.

Zelenskyy: Iran shot down our plane. Killed our passengers. Didn't admit it. Then the full-scale war, they handed Shaheds to Russia, killing our civilians I asked them to stop. They promised no more than one batch and carried on lying. I think of them as accomplices of Russia 2/

Don’t look away, @la_Biennale. This is the ugly face of barbaric Russia—destroyed UNESCO World Heritage in the protected center of Lviv. This is the barbarism you wish to normalize at the Biennale. Get real!

FBI agents have to retire at 57, air traffic controllers at 56, and pilots at 65. But somehow demented 70 and 80 year olds running the country is totally fine. Make it make sense.

KASPAROV: "Everything Trump did as President benefited Putin. He criticized everybody, from John McCain to foreign leaders, but never said anything negative about Putin. That’s the only person on the planet Trump never criticized. His actions always help Putin. I’ve said many times on X: Donald Trump was the only one who could save Putin, and that’s exactly what’s happening now."

I am the Ukrainian skeleton racer who was wrongfully disqualified from the Olympics last month because of my “Memory Helmet.” Tonight in Milano-Cortina, the Paralympic Games are opening. The Committee has bizarrely permitted Russian soldier-athletes to participate under the Russian flag. The head of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) literally stated that they don’t care about what Russian soldiers did in Ukraine. The problem is that we do care. They are killing Ukrainians on the battlefield, bombing our cities, and committing genocide. Now, with this step of allowing them to compete, the IPC is giving them the opportunity to continue committing genocide by spreading Russian narratives with Russian flags and symbols. They try to manipulate the situation by pointing out that the movement started after World War II, but during World War II the Olympic Games were cancelled, and German athletes were not invited and did not take part in the Games until 1952. It looks like the head of the IPC doesn’t know the history of the Olympic and Paralympic movement at all. What a shame. This whole story is just getting worse and worse.

🗣️ Ruud Gullit: “I have decided to STOP watching football. I don't enjoy our sport anymore. I watched Arsenal vs Chelsea, what an absolute GARBAGE match of football!” “I see players trying to create corner kicks, trying to create throw-ins, I see ball boys ready to give towels to the players. Football has become absolutely HORRIBLE. I hope that this is not the path we are heading at.” “I am waiting for players who will take on defenders again, someone like Lamine Yamal. I am missing the joy! I just don't enjoy football anymore.” “Everyone is executing tasks on the pitch. Where are the players dribbling? Where are the players with b*lls? WHY IS EVERYONE PASSING?! PASSING! PASSING! PASSING!”

Today Ukraine applied a package of sanctions against Alexander Lukashenko, and we will significantly intensify countermeasures against all forms of his assistance in the killing of Ukrainians. We will work with partners so that this has a global effect. In the second half of 2025, on the territory of Belarus, the Russians deployed a system of relay stations to control attack drones, which increased the Russian army’s capabilities to carry out strikes on our northern regions – from the Kyiv region to Volyn. The Russians would not have been able to carry out some of the attacks, particularly on energy facilities and railways in our regions, without such assistance from Belarus. More than 3,000 Belarusian enterprises have been put at the service of Russia’s war and supply machinery, equipment, and components categorized as “critically important,” including components for the production of missiles that terrorize our cities and villages. Infrastructure is also being developed to deploy intermediate-range missiles – Oreshnik – on the territory of Belarus, which is an obvious threat not only to Ukrainians but to all Europeans. Alexander Lukashenko has not only allowed Oreshnik to be deployed on Belarusian territory. Last year, the country’s enterprises supplied Russia with critical components, parts, and manufacturing base for this weapon. This continues in 2026. Alexander Lukashenko has long been trading Belarus’s sovereignty for the continuation of his personal power, helping Russians circumvent global sanctions for this aggression, actively justifying Russia’s war, and now further increasing his own participation in scaling and prolonging the war. There will be special consequences for this.
