VanJS speaker request: somebody to talk about hardcore JavaScript performance. Maybe a browser engineer, maybe somebody who's studied it.
Awesome - we have Blaine Cook (was lead dev of Twitter, wrote OAuth), in town for another VanJS next month. Working on speaker no. 2.
Apologies to those who didn't get seats at tonight's very successful event. The next one will be in January and we'll have more space.
Also, it's super exciting that 80+ people were interested in tonight's VanJS. We'll book a larger room next time, my bad.
To those on the VanJS waiting list: you can come, just please let RSVPers have seats first. It looks like we'll have standing room only.
Just opened a few more spots on Meetup for this month's VanJS. Usually we get like 30% more RSVPs than attendees, so it should be okay.
