The change to @StackPath CDN cut our 95th percentile performance in half, down to 500-750ms. That's pretty great for the slowest users.

Real-world performance is measured in percentiles: median (normal users), 75th (most users), and 95th (slowest users).
Our "slowest users" used to take 1.5-2 seconds to get the agent from the CDN. That's not great, but not the worst considering how slow networks can be.

A few days ago, we completed a change moving our CDN from the old @MaxCDN to @StackPath.
We weren't expecting any change in performance, but @RequestMetrics is showing us that its improved response times considerably for the slowest users.
