Here are 7 legends that turned
@Cursor into a Sous chef, building a meal planning app, with Agent and Plan mode and deploying to
@Cloudflare. Ours apps had
@AnthropicAI Claude built in as a meal planning assistant. We used Realtime from
@OpenAI to help us cook our recipes. Of course we had
@GoogleDeepMind for that nano bananas recipe illustrations. We used Durable Objects, shadcn,
@tinybasejs ! When I explained what’s on the menu for this group of participants to a seasoned dev, the reply was “Madness!” Thats too ambitious. And it was, the group had to get uncomfortable and push themselves, this was asking a lot from a non technical group. But the results were there, shipped working code excited to share with friends and family. and a whole new mental model for what it takes to build an AI feature. as the tutor, I had the best time with Cursor as my learning aid. You can flip cursor with Ask mode, dig into concepts and unknowns, especially when you have a mentor to help spot your knowledge gaps. It scaled me up in a way I’ve haven’t experienced in workshops before.
