We deployed on Friday and broke checkout 😅 - and our fix only fixed it for a subset of checkouts!
Our bad!
We've been fixing it this morning but dealing with some Railway downtime, will reply here once it's all back up.
Select is probably our most complex component, especially when you count that it adapts to a sheet dynamically.
And our select still has tons of room to improve, like virtualization for large lists.

✓ useTheme re-write, much faster!!
✓ group styles perf cliff removed
✓ lots of Switch performance improvements
✓ less re-parenting on theme changes
the Tamagui site, kitchen sink, and Uniswap apps all are much faster now!
We're going on a bug-bash before we release 2.0, and will spend as long as it takes to get things rock solid.
January has been a great month for bug-fixing,

These are both great news.
Tamagui has always brought a lot of web style APIs to universal apps. Now we have a lot more of them we can share, and better performance all around.
Our goal this year with version 2 and 3 of Tamagui is to become an incredible style engine for whatever syntax you prefer.
V2 will be a smaller step, just simplifying our internals and APIs as much as we can without migration pain, and will be coming within a month.
