The Tamagui engine is state of the art, unrivaled. Its code is clean, feature-set large, and performance great.
There's nothing like it, and it would take years of effort to replicate.
We think Tamagui users will be very happy with the rest of the year's developments.
The state of Tamagui is good. We now have more funding, and the best team we've ever had.
But due to our large surface area, we've lacked the ability to keep every edge case stable. That will change.
We're also happy to say multiple bigger companies have come on as sponsors.
This is the primary negative feedback from users, and we hear you.
Tamagui has been an incredibly difficult project to build, and we've been refactoring the internals to improve performance and code quality over the last months. But that did come with users hitting edge cases.
For the next few months the Tamagui team will be focusing hard on stability and bugs. We have a large internal document planning this out.
We've hired two new incredibly technically competent developers to pull this off and will improve testing and documentation alongside.
