Looking to hire a Tailwind CSS designer. We have a new website basic layout and content coded in Tailwind. But there is no color, no typography, no graphics, and no fun.
Can you or someone you know make it look amazing?
If you've implemented @tailwindcss on an app that already has its front end and css already written and configured, what was the transition like for you? How long did it take and was it worth it?
If you’re avoiding using @tailwindcss because you want to avoid the “Bootstrap trap” of your site looking like everyone else’s, don’t. I was able to pull it in and re-create our custom visual language within an hour and it is drastically improving our productivity.
Did some sweet hoodies too! Wish we could do these print on demand, shipping anywhere from Canada is so expensive that it would be crazy expensive to try and make them available for sale 😭
Went full @adamwathan and rebuilt this page with Next.js + Tailwind.
• Uses `next/image` to prevent CLS
• Fixes broken aspect ratio of hero image
• Pre-renders HTML to prevent loading state
• i18n support with Next.js
Not perfect, but a fun demo 😁

New @tailwindcss screencast up! 🎬
Let's take a look at how theme extensions now get "deep merged" in Tailwind CSS v2.0.
This simplifies things like adding a custom shade to a default color – no more accidental overrides! 👍

Just updated my site to use @tailwindcss ✨
- Next.js 10 (with `next/image`)
- Tailwind 2.0 + Dark Mode
- MDX
Switching CSS-in-JS → Tailwind also helped performance:
📦 Before → ~150kb First Load JS
📈 After → ~85kb First Load JS

I made the decision to rebuild our flagship site with @tailwindcss a few months ago. I'd never actually used it but the reviews were so good and my limited experience with it seemed positive.
So far it's been the best possible decision we could have made. 🧵
🚀 New screencast day!
Tailwind CSS v2.0 adds sensible default line-height values for each font-size utility — no more outrageous 1.5 line-height for 60px headlines by default!
