I've had the motivation to work on servør recently, manage to get a lot done this weekend..
- 🗜 gzip certain file types (3.3.1)
- 💯 http2 when possible (merged)
- 🐣 route nested indexes (PR)
- 💭 support JS root files (PR)
- 👨🔬 added tests (branch)
Plus more in the pipeline!

Create React App: 1602 dependencies, base
Snowpack v2 Apps: ...a lot less
This is Create React App, expressed as 5 simple Snowpack v2 build scripts. No complex plugin system or other config needed.
Each src file is piped into the command as stdin, and stdout is written to your build.
It's a web app builder, powered by npm scripts (on steroids).

As I was going to bed, I had an idea about a no-bundler dev setup (using native browser ES imports), but with support for Vue SFCs **with hot reload**. Now it's almost 6AM and I have PoC working. The hot reload is so fast it's near instant.

I actually played with the no-bundler-SFC idea last year, but didn't invest more time into it because I felt hot reload and production bundling are blockers for this to get anywhere. But now HMR is solved, and this setup seems to pair very nicely with
@pikapkg's Snowpack.

I've been *really* enjoying using Snowpack for our new WebXR-focused project. Took a little effort to set up but just being able to use JS modules as they were intended without thinking about build steps is like a breath of fresh air. snowpack.dev @pikapkg
