A huge thanks to everyone who reached out to help test. Stay tuned next week for the official launch!
It's that time again... we're getting ready to launch something new! But we need your help to test it: If you maintain an npm package on Github, reach out (respond here or DM) for a sneak peak of something brand new ⚡️

Why use Pika CDN (cdn.pika.dev) over UNPKG's "module" flag?

Curious about import maps? We're looking to add automatic import-map generation to @pika/web installs! 👀 github.com/pikapkg/web/pull/…

Pika CDN is pretty cool. pika.dev/cdn If a library is ES Module ready and on npm, you can use it like: import {Component, render} from 'cdn.pika.dev/preact/v8'; No bundling needed. For example: codepen.io/chriscoyier/pen/v…

What can we do to be better and simplify our lives as JavaScript developers? Currently we are making this an overly complex industry to enter and alienating other devs. @FredKSchott's goal for Pika is to help with that. #dinojs

Ok, I’m excited to check out @pikapkg now. Their search, and the info they surface about modules, looks super useful! (Lists if they support ESM, have @typescript definitions built in, etc) #dinojs

📀 Pika CDN now supports the "umd" subdomain @ umd.cdn.pika.dev! Load UMD versions of modern npm packages. Useful for supporting legacy browsers like IE11.

We're still focused on building for an ESM future (IE11 is only ~2% of browser usage globally!) But this requested feature makes more sense than the old behavior.
