A simple framework for humans. Server-first React, running on the Cloudflare platform. Simple to build. Easy to maintain.

Installing @tailwindcss using a gist to prompt @cursor_ai. When doing allot of small demo projects this just made it less annoying 🤭

My analogy for SDK has been “instead of trying to explain your order to the chef how to make your food, you get to just step into the kitchen and make it.” Feels like cheating for how nice it’s felt with RSC, SSR, Cloudflare, web-primitive approach.

Still blows my mind that you can toggle client-side navigation for a server-rendered site with a 1-line change in @RedwoodJS

In a month of two, we are assisting in capturing two male Lions, collaring them, and releasing them to another wilderness area where they are monitored. The behind the scenes software will be powered by RedwoodSDK and @Cloudflare. Similar to what we did with these Elephants in Zimbabwe. rwsdk.com/blog/elephants-and…

cloudflare's durable objects (now wrapped in an easier to use actor framework) are so incredibly powerful once you get the hang of it. an architect's best friend
Close to landing this, but literally all the code you would need to support web socket connections and echo a socket message back in a Durable Object is... this. Hibernates, stores connections, all that handled for you.

We used to talk about "self-hosting" as the ideal. Run your own server. Control your data. Be free. But self-hosting still assumes a stack of complexity, cost, and risk that most people don’t want. RedwoodSDK skips that. We believe in something bigger: self-sovereign software. 1. You own the source. 2. You control the data.

We are trying to figure out what is going one with @Starlink. @Cloudflare seeing irregularities in their BGP advertisements, and a complete loss of traffic
Satellite #Internet provider @Starlink is currently experiencing a network-wide outage. They have acknowledged the outage, but have not yet provided information on a cause.
