Always great to watch the @CloudflareDev Dry Run this time with @threepointone and @craigsdennis, wasn't aware of dynamic isolates. Basically Cloudflare is building the foundational primitives (Dynamic Isolate Loading and Multifaceted DOs) to enable a new class of applications which are hyperpersonalized AI generated software that can be created and deployed instantly, safely and at scale. Durable Object Server Components with @RedwoodJS

Not where I want it to be yet but this is early stages of an app using @RedwoodJS and @convex Using Convex Auth and everything else cause I love it. Using RWSDK for framework and React Server Components. This is an adaptation of @brian_lovin's site. I have plans to add: - profiles - music - User generated content/posts - Upload music and listen to what other users are listening too - Upload images to R2 and have github like image uploading experiences for posts - community discussions (discord esq but this is for jobs and burnout)

💭 user programmable experiences — tl:dr - every app should be hackable a big promise of the web has always been that it’s “open”; the dream was that you’d be able to layer on your own stylesheets to customise ux, use rss feeds and consume content in your own reader, even use tools to layer on userscripts on to web pages for custom behaviour. with sandboxes and isolated compute, we finally have the ability to go even deeper and customise the entire application layer on the server. there exists a future where every website/app/portal gives you hooks to modify the entire stack and create wildly customisable experiences, sometimes ephemeral and optionally permanent. you can create a personal portfolio of auto generated UIs (shareable!) for every single domain. every app can build itself in real time, just in time. I’m very excited about this. I only hope we have the guts to seize the opportunity and demand it from content providers.
