Something that isn't brought up enough (but still something to think about for framework authors) is the fact you can load/render different parts of a request in different data-centers on Cloudflare without any additional cost.
With Cloudflare and frameworks with smart bundler tricks, the wisdom of "the edge is slow because the database is far away" can go away.
