The problem with JS frameworks, from ~5 years ago, is that they wanted to be Ruby on Rails. Rails works because of the magic of Ruby, which is a language that allows you to invent syntax.
The problem with JS frameworks is that they wanted to be RoR and we gave them a transpiler! So they built layers of abstraction, syntax and magic. They didn't extend the language - they broke it, and building with them feels like you're debugging someone elses idea of a programming language.

It's rare that you get to build a framework once, let alone twice. I've learnt a ton of lessons - and those translate into simplicity, elegance, and something that just feels right
Principles:
Leverage fundamentals: the browser, the network, React / Typescript, and Cloudflare. The result is that everything fits like a glove
Zero magic: Don't generate types or code. No special syntax. No special imports/ exports.
Ownership: You have control over every byte over the wire

The hard part is gluing together services: Compute is one part, but then you need a database, storage, and queues to build anything meaningful.
You need a platform. That platform is Cloudflare. Bindings are incredible.
