Perf tip: Don't ship React's DEV mode to production. Use Webpack's DefinePlugin to set NODE_ENV + minify + gzip for faster, smaller bundles.
ALT webpack.DefinePlugin is used to set the NODE_ENV so React switches out for the production ready build without as many debug strings
