On the weekend I finished optimizing Preact's SSR performance. When 6.0 is released, upgrading will result in 2x - 2.5x faster SSR, reducing costs and TTFB.

I can guarantee that 2022 will bring some amazing things, we've been working hard on Preact v11.
Last week, Preact hit 1 million weekly downloads.
The little library I built in 2015 as a learning exercise is now found on ~4% of websites, including some of the most visited websites globally.
I'm lucky to work with this awesome team, and excited for what's shipping in 2022.
