I’ve used Maps extensively recently. They’re a pleasure to read and write. You can even use them in IE11 (with a couple of caveats!) Set and WeakMap have also come of age.
Objects vs. Maps: prefer the latter if you need a dictionary. The performance should be about the same, but they are easier to use properly.

The @popmotionjs guys are doing fantastic stuff with Pose. Started messing with some transitions for a new site build (using @gatsbyjs) and I can already tell it's going to be a game changer for me.
