From now on I think I'm going to be using pnpm for my package management.
Why?
It's faster.
There's only ever one copy of a package left on disk.

PSA: we just moved to @pnpmjs for the vuejs/vue-next repo - if you are a contributor, make sure to check out the updated contribution guide: github.com/vuejs/vue-next/bl…
BS typu "miliardové firmy používají náš [neznámý software]" (většinou to je, že se do trialu zaregistroval někdo s xyz@microsoft.com) vs. krásný technický seznam, kdo používá konkrétní fičuru. 👍👍👍 pnpm!

Moved 3 of my repositories to using @pnpmjs. For one repo, the difference in speed isn't noticeable, but when the number reached 3, the speed of installation in each was just mindblowing. Not to mention, npm run <script> takes a good amount of time to just start, pnpm is instant

С переходом во всех текущих JS проектах на pnpm освободилось около 20Гб.
Заодно в куче проектов обновился с legacy версий до текущих и почти ничего не сломал (суммарно около 30 часов ушло на исправление того, что ломалось при обновлениях).
