Want to override the JavaScript asset type to use Traceur instead of Babel? You can do it!
@parceljs has good defaults for the common cases, but is extremely extendible for the edge cases. Best of both worlds!

I’ve also seen people claim that @parceljs is “opinionated”. This is pure FUD.
Almost everything can be overridden if you want - the core is extremely generic to any asset types that you might want to create!

“Zero configuration” doesn’t mean non-configurable to @parceljs. You still probably need to configure babel, postcss, etc.
The idea is to avoid additional boilerplate configuration just to get things working in every project. e.g. configuring loaders, plugins, etc.
