In Parcel 2, namer plugins allow creating and sharing custom bundle naming schemes as npm packages. 📦
The default namer supports content hashing, entry paths, split bundles, and more!
If you have multiple targets, you can even have them output into separate folders. 📂👏

I keep seeing people claim that tree shaking CommonJS is impossible. This is false. @parceljs does it, and it works just as well as ES modules! 💥
Some tools may not support it, but that doesn’t make it impossible. 😉
