Hi there!
We’re here :)
We just got through a big gitlab issue with a thoushand million of spams, which were quite non fun to work with.
(That and a few personnal changes in the devs life :D)
That said, we have a table support rewriting in the pipes.
@paged_js
Hey folks
Pagedjs.org is down for a little bit.
We updated the website to use @eleven_ty and served from our self hosted @gitlab. We’ll keep you posted asasp!
Thanks for your patience, and, in case of emergency, you can have a look at old.pagedjs.org
If you’re a friend of print CSS and know spanish, make yourself known! We have spanish speaking users who want to share knowledge in their native language, and we’ll be happy to put y’all in touch :)
During last week of October, I was invited at @Esac__ to lead a workshop with @paged_js . The students made an amazing work and you can see all the books in this web page ✨→ workshops.julie-blanc.fr/202… Congratulations to them and thanks for the good time!
We’re experiencing issues with our gitlab and mattermost instances. We’re looking at options, but it’s likely that they get merged with @CokoFoundation ones. We’ll try to make it smooth and keep the urls alive with redirections.
This afternoon, 2pm CET, @RLesur will talk to us about #pagedown, the pagedjs implementation for R.
This is a must watch for the statistics lovers around!

Our gitlab.pagedmedia.org is down. We’re working on it now.
Looks like we got hit quite a lot by spammers.
Fortunately, they havent waited for friday evening to start their move.
We’re pretty thrilled to see that @raphaelbastide @julienbidoret @kajou_design @AmlieDumont will show what they did and keep doing with paged.js at the Open Publishing Fest.

(Among all the other great web2print projects we can follow there!)
#OpenPublish
One important info missing from that tweet, the event will be french!
If you’d like to have an english version of that, shout and we’ll see if that’s doable.
The greatest CSS site about the greatest CSS tricks made the jump of publishing through a single source to multi format.
This is great. We’re thrilled to see @paged_js name in there.
It just feel great to give back to @css and @chriscoyier :)
The Greatest CSS Tricks Vol. I is now available in PDF and EPUB!
It wasn't easy, but the whole process is mapped out in this post. css-tricks.com/the-greatest-…
We’re now 300 people on the Paged.js chat.
That’s amazing that you can find so many interesting folks trying to do something about printing HTML, sharing tools and solutions.
This is a pretty good feeling to have on a monday!

J’ai eu l’aval de @julienbidoret qui valide cette expérimentation avec @paged_js. Dans le genre, fabriquez vos outils, un petit script pour transformer les images en background et permettre leur ajustement de cadrage (et exporter le css).

Hey folks!
The openpublishingfest.org 2021 is up!
If you’ve been using paged.js to publish things, but don’t feel showing stuff of your own, come and share a spot in our community show and tell moment :)
Feel free to DM or join mattermost.pagedmedia.org/
Looking at the best option to make a usable playground for pagedjs users, (it’s a bit tricky as you need to preview and print).
If you have an idea on how to do that, i’m listening!
Made a script tonight to handle automatic full page images and images on facing page. Images are added randomly, and everytime one is found, it’s pushed to the next page (or double page) and the text flows around.
Thanks @julienbidoret for the idea!
