i don't really talk about this a lot but it's important to address—the future of @milliondotjs but before, a little background. i'm an incoming college student, and in 3 weeks i'll be a full time student. due to restrictions around college attendance, i am required to take the first quarter, but i am considering gap quarters after. through this time, i will continue to work on million at a full time capacity (100 h/w -> 40 h/w). there is a team behind million that will help maintain the community and some engineering aspects of the project. the main focus for the next 6 months is adoption and optimizing the integration experience. alongside my maintenance duties, i am actively seeking funding and sponsorships in order to ensure short term sustainability. long term, i hope to setup a committed core team for dedicated support. million will expand to more than what it is now. the thesis behind the project is that we can always ship great dx alongside great ux, and i have some very interesting ideas that expand upon our "automatic optimization" features. im very excited for what's to come. 6 months ago i would have never imagined what it has become. frankly, it wouldnt be what it is without yall. thank you 🫶
