Medusa is great at powering unconventional commerce. The latest example is the VC-backed startup, Shopfront. They are building a platform-of-platforms that makes it easier for resellers to manage and sell their assortment and orders across secondary marketplaces like Etsy and eBay. With Medusa, they started with a strong and proven commerce foundation. They can now focus their development efforts on differentiating features such as AI-powered content creation, multi-channel product publishing, and automatic de-listing of sold products. We were heads down last week adding more capabilities to @medusajs's Data Modeling Language (DML). ✊ 🚀 The focus? Composite indexes The bit I had most fun building was the "on" field to be TS auto-completable. The indexes function would infer the types from the model definition and provide it to the "on" field in the index. You can see this in play here with "account" on the definition and "account_id" in the index. 🤞

In Medusa 2.0, we are introducing a new field selection API to our Rest API, allowing you to easily select, omit, or expand fields in your responses.

I've always loved event driven systems. It forces you to create small, well tested blocks of code. Add observability to these flows and it becomes this beautiful symphony of structure in a process full of chaos.
