Well, I think the next logical step would be to include Tissot Indicatrix to the projection showcase.

@macjaeger the truth is that i have no machine for testing in IE9 yet. It runs in IE7, so 9 shouldn't be a big problem.
.@herrstucki the main purpose of the GPL license is to ensure that fork developments (which must be free) can be merged back to Kartograph

.@herrstucki also u can use the SVGs created with K. but u cannot build a (non-free) service for generating maps on top of it (due to AGPL)
.@herrstucki like any GPL lib, u can use kartograph.js in commercial work as long as u don't 'release' it as (non-free) software package.

Thinking about an OSM plugin for Kartograph. Would be nice to render streets etc on SVG, wouldn't it? What do you think?

By the way, the maps in Otto Neuraths Atlas of Society and Economy (1931) motivated the creation of @kartographjs. is.gd/s1uTBE
