Today is the 4th birthday of the first commit to Medusa! Since then, another +4,000 commits have landed across more than 200 contributors. We want to thank every single one of you for helping make digital commerce better.

We are utilizing our new React component library to give the entire dashboard a new and cohesive look and feel. Part of the revamp is also focused on making sure that the entire application is responsive. And we are finally adding a highly requested dark mode 🌒.

Admin extensions are undergoing an overhaul to provide a better DX. We are migrating the admin build tooling to Vite, and as part of that, we have created a new plugin for managing extensions. HMR is nearly instant and offers a greatly improved experience compared to today.

The Medusa Admin dashboard is about to get a whole lot better. In Q1 of next year, we are planning on shipping several improvements both for the DX of working with extensions and also the overall UI/UX.

We announced API Routes two weeks ago—a drastic improvement of the DX of creating custom endpoints in @medusajs. Next week, we'll do the same with Subscribers and Cron/Scheduled Jobs. @kafkjs is on a roll!

Next up for Price Lists will be adding support for editing minimum and maximum quantity requirements for bulk discounts, as well as the ability to import and export Price Lists from/to CSV files. Stay tuned.

The Bulk Editor offers various spreadsheet features that enable you to easily drag-to-fill, copy/paste, and delete prices for multiple product variants simultaneously.
