Doesn't quite work out like he said. You can't find more than a handful of companies in Wisconsin that pay more than half of those average salaries. Cost of living is too low to justify it.

Also, a reason turnover is so high is that after 3 years of experience you should be making twice as much money as you did from the start, but raises never increase your salary that quickly. You have to find a new job to find the salary you should earn.
