In the past weeks I've started migrating Codecks' ruby-based backend to node using @fastifyjs and @typescriptlang.
I'm really impressed to see how many more requests it can handle on our €2.50/month testing server!
In order to keep up with growing demand, we began migrating our backend from ruby to node.
First benchmarks are showing that this was a worthwhile investment:
Latency is more than halved for the new endpoints and the server is able to handle a much higher load! 📈

We've just released v2-rc5, featuring a lot of cool features, such as protection against prototype poisoning (thanks @eranhammer); this is probably the last RC release!! Furthermore, we also released v1.14, with bugfixes and new features backported from v2!
