I'll followup with a tutorial on transformations, a page with common mistakes ( for newcomers and not ) and eventually bugfixes for the old 1.7 branch.
I draw a line, i packaged @fabricJS 2.0.0 on npm, as stable.
Expect quick bugfix in form minors and new features in form of mid versions soon. We have superscript/subscript ready.
Anyone willing to help? We are looking for a setup that works nicely under travis and testem runner maybe, the latest not being a requirement. Providing a test example is good enough, @AndreaBogazzi can do the boring job then.
Is there anyone good at JS automate test frameworks that wants to help @fabricjs in getting an automated test suite that run a bit everywhere? I would love some help.
Hi Adriàn, from the @fabricjs website read this fabricjs.com/fabric-filters in particular where it speaks of WEBGL backend and textureSize.
have fun and let me know what you think of the filters and if some important filter is missing.
since @fabricJS version 2 is ready, i ll spend the holidays not coding, waiting for bugs to arise from rc4. Code freeze for all the rest, i ll just try to write a sort of migration guide with all you should take care of for migration.
Small improvement for @fabricjs cache when upper limited from constraints.
Left current version, right new version ( external border is sharp )
This time thanks to @blobinabottle for pointing out the problem
Version 2.0 rc1 of @fabricjs is out! My sunday effort dedicated to node users.
Api now is the same, cleared a memory leak on canvas dispose and fixed nodejs filtering.
Finally got some time for @fabricjs and @nodejs. Thanks to @domenic (jsdom) and @automattic (node-canvas) fabricJS devs can write same code for browser or node.
Still something to fix here and there, but getting simpler
Today @fabricjs News!
Thanks to a couple of users helping out, we have 3 new justify methods for text. On fabric.Textbox they look like almost paragraph ending.
V 1.7.20 of @fabricjs is out!
only back ported fixes from 2.0
- Group from object and subTargetCheck
- cache canvas deletion
- cache fuzzyness
- free drawing and direction of start/end points
- noScaleCache from stop refreshing cache of not transforming objects
Left @fabricJS code i tampered today, center old uncached drawing, right current fabricjs with small font size and caching enabled.
To me looks i finally solved the sneaky fuzzyness
Cannot really solve it for decimal pixels unfortunately (third row on)
