Excited to announce that I’ll be speaking at @a11yTO this year. Giving an updated version of one of my favorite talks (so far) and I think you’ll love it!
We've started posting talks for #a11yTOConf, October 17th and 18th: conf.a11yto.com/talks. Tickets are available at early bird pricing until September 5th, and you'll have until Oct 1st to switch between virtual and in-person!

This is why we chose to build with a foundation of tools that have strong conventions, great test support, and excellent documentation. By choosing @emberjs and @symfony we can rely on the community to provide 95% of what is needed to join our team and be productive day one!

The veil has been lifted: this year we're going to Paris! You can already buy an early bird ticket and submit a talk idea: emberfest.eu/ Let's go! (to Paris, in September).

You can keep up with the Ember addon scene at emberobserver.com/ thanks to @katiegengler and her team!

From one Embereño: "ember-concurrency is the best thing since sliced bread and makes ANY dev I show it (to) envious that their platform doesn't have it!”

Another thing we asked: what addons do you always use? ember-concurrency is still in the top spot for survey respondents, but ember-cli-typescript was not far behind! We also love our helpers- ember-truth-helpers & ember-composable-helpers seem to be a must-have! ^MS

It’s no contest! Components, templates, and routes are the things the majority of survey respondents felt were the most intuitive and easy to learn! Stay tuned for more survey responses throughout the day! ^MS

"Handlebars/templating and organizing the pages of the app by routes that correspond to URLs"

We asked Embereños what were the easiest parts of Ember to learn... "templates that were just HTML with some really easy to understand additional syntax"

With the annual survey wrapped up, (results will be posted to the website soon!) we thought we’d share some of the memorable responses. 🧵
