Today, we've decided to move RFC #659 (adds a helper to generate a unique ID) to final comment period. Get your comments in now! github.com/emberjs/rfcs/pull…
The RFC to update the RFC process to use stages (github.com/emberjs/rfcs/pull…) is now in its final comment period- now is the time to provide feedback if you haven't done so yet!
We might not have a chance to get together this year anywhere but we can still have a bit of the community feeling that makes #EmberFest so special every year. Send us your videos and we'll share them with the european #emberjs community and our friends abroad!
Hey 👋 Could you record a personal message for this year’s virtual edition and send it to us at hello@emberfest.eu (only if that’s your jam)? Alternatively, you can also share a video impression from previous years that reflect the EmberFest vibe. Thank you.
Template-only components do other heavy lifting for you so you can focus on things like accessibility. Thank you for this reminder, @pzuraq !! #A11y#A11yMatters
We're pleased to share the 2020 Ember Roadmap: blog.emberjs.com/2020/07/10/…
If you're looking for an opportunity to get involved with the Ember project, the roadmap is a helpful tool for understanding what the rest of the contributor community is working on. 📖👨🏽💻
The RFC to facilitate customization of setupTest* functions has entered final comment period- get your comments in now! 👍 github.com/emberjs/rfcs/pull…
We have been discussing changing the default branch name of our projects. We are excited to see @github working to make this easy across the platform & are eagerly waiting to make use of the tools they will provide!
Would love to see other major open-source documentation do this or at least something similar to this. Looking at you React, Ember.js, Angular, Ruby on Rails, Django, Vue.js, Elixir, Rust, etc.
A solid post from Core Team Member @pzuraq on some of the differences between Ember Octane and React. He's of course a tad biased, but it's a really thorough and thoughtful overview, worth a read regardless of your preferences. buff.ly/2TIgr6T
