It’s never been easier to clone UI, but UI does not a product make. Much of what makes Flighty great is invisible. It’s all the data they aggregate and all the clever ways their backend processes that data to deliver notifications at just the right moment or reliably update the Live Activity. And let’s not mistake cloning a UI for “building an app”. The real meat of “building” is the thousands of product decisions made over the past 7 years that make Flighty Flighty. If you want to clone an app’s UI, you can do it in a weekend. If you want to build a product people care about, AI does speed things up, but there are still thousands of decisions that go into building a great app.
