The upcoming release of @assemblejs is pretty darn fast! It loads 5,000 blog posts, parses front-matter, renders, and writes them to a new directory in ~2.4 seconds total! I think Hugo will need to change their tagline soon. :) #nodejs #javascript

preliminary benchmarks for the next version of @assemblejs, it's rendering a page with @handlebarsjs templates and two nested layouts 35,000 times a sec! We haven't even started optimizing yet :)
