I just wrote a codegen to create a function that can take 1-20 generics. It's 1,500 lines long Is this madness or genius

If you skim through this section it kinda warns about most of the things I like [and abuse] in TypeScript πŸ˜… github.com/microsoft/TypeScr…

It's unfortunate that the most DX-friendly ways of using TypeScript are also the ways that the compiler itself likes the least

πŸ’– I'm sponsoring @alexdotjs because trpc has become my new favorite way to leverage the BFF pattern in NextJS. The DX is through the roof, and my productivity has skyrocketed! github.com/sponsors/KATT?sc=…

Had such a great time at #PrismaDay yesterday, met so many people who I've only seen avatars of before! Thank you, amazing people from @prisma! πŸ™

The "Prisma success stories" presented here by @sorenbs at Prisma Day are also tRPC success stories. πŸš€ Both @calcom & @InvTechInc are also tRPC users πŸ”₯

Just did a talk at @ReactCPH about @trpcio! πŸŽ‰ I was nervous as fuck in the beginning but after five minutes and various fuckups where the really lovely audience laughed with me, it was reallyyy fun. I've always avoided & dreaded public speaking, so this was a great milestone ☺️

It feels like XState will shine here but it's hard to grok how to tie it together with React and typescript and form libraries and whatnot

Does anyone have codesandbox of a React multi-step form wizard with XState which has good types and guards(is that what it's called?) for each step? Bonus if it could also keep the URL bar working so you could press back/forward buttons to navigate.

As an update, this by @kirillgroshkov became my favorite as I could [almost] just copy/paste it to my codebase. Vendoring > `npm install` a lot of the times
