Watch out for Xcode converting init(foo:) calls to init(value:) if it exists. e.g. github.com/samsonjs/Promise/…

As for Swift 3 conversion… I had to modify Carthage, fork a few dependencies and convert them, and work around an issue with YapDB indexes.

SimPholders crashes after a few seconds, but just enough time for me to open a folder so I can cope for a while.
Installed Sierra on my MacBook yesterday and am enjoying auto-unlock and Siri so far. iOS 10’s lock screen is much improved too. Readable!
I have one of these and the trackpad is pretty bad (naturally). I’d say it’s worth $25 though.
Started using this tiny wireless keyboard/mouse with my HTPC. Quite decent for its size. amazon.com/dp/B01GV8SHJK/?ta…

… and yes, that means that NSJSONSerialization methods are poorly named. They should all use “rootObject” just like NSKeyedArchiver.
If you have a method like init(json:) that damn well better accept a UTF-8 string. If it doesn’t then someone failed at naming it.

Stop calling dictionaries “JSON objects” and other nonsense. Parsing JSON (a string) yields a dictionary or array, not a JSON anything.

This is really elegant in its simplicity. Limited, but I bet many of us could operate within these limits.
I put the prog21 site generator on GitHub. It's all there: the 3699 byte Perl script + 2073 byte HTML template. github.com/dadgumjames/prog2…

I also played around with Factor (👋🏽 @slava_pestov) and Forth, and wrote a toy concatenative language at some point. It's all a blur really.
