As other people are stocking up for the crisis, we came to the realization our stash is all expired 🤯. No worries, supermarkets will not close!

Great. After a couple of hours of bug hunting in Karma source code I go watch an episode of 'How I met your mother' to blow of steam. It is the episode with a stripper named 'Karma'. You can't make this stuff up.

Another thing TypeScript matches from Flow: type-only imports! 👍 So you can be explicit that what you're importing is a type: import { doThing } from "./foo.js"; import type { Options } from "./foo.js"; Available now in the TypeScript 3.8 Beta!
We just released TypeScript 3.8 Beta! Try out our new features like type-only imports, and ECMAScript features like private fields, `export * as foo`, top-level 'await', and more! devblogs.microsoft.com/types…

TypeScript 3.8 beta is out! Great features, like es privates (`#`). A nice addition: you can now 'choose' to import types only using `import type { foo } from 'bar'`. These imports don't have side effects as they are always erased. Love this new addition!

One step closer to removing all 'type-directed emit', meaning more in line with babel and friends!

It’s not about Meatloaf. It’s not about me. It’s not about what some people call me. It’s not about left or right. It’s all about scientific facts. And that we’re not aware of the situation. Unless we start to focus everything on this, our targets will soon be out of reach.
